Moores Creek Battleground Association
It is a pleasure to invite you to join the Moores Creek Battleground Association. This non-profit organization, founded March 7, 1899, determined that the site of the Battle of Moores Creek Bridge was one of the decisive actions of the opening phases of the American Revolution. The Bridge is preserved as a national shrine.
Objective 1
Foster and perpetuate the significance of the Battle of Moores Creek Bridge, fought on February 27, 1776
Objective 2
Sponsor programs to honor those who fought and died in pursuit of American independence
Objective 3
Give all possible aid to the National Park Service in the ongoing development of Moores Creek National Battlefield
Objective 4
Cooperate with other national, state and local organizations with similar aims, and to foster and perpetuate a spirit of patriotism and knowledge of national heritage among Americans

ABOUT US: Moores Creek Battleground Association (MCBA) is a non-profit, membership-based organization that partners with the Moores Creek National Battlefield to support educational and historical programming at the park.
MCBA was chartered in 1899, making it the oldest National Park support organization in the nation.
